The new rules tinted effective 1 November 2014

This is the new rules of tinted car. Effective 1 November 2014.

Upon conviction shall be punishable:
  1. Compound RM 300 or fines RM 1000
  2. Jail for 2 weeks or both. 



Exceptions to the rule given to :
  1. Yang Dipertuan Agong
  2. Sultan
  3. Perdana Menteri
  4. Ketua Menteri
  5. Ketua Hakim
  6. Agensi penguat kuasa(police, Kastam , JPJ, etc)

New rule for car headlights JPJ, start on 1 October 2014.

New rules implement for car headlights, JPJ, star on 1 October 2014. The road transport department(JPJ) will take actions against driver driver who not follow the new rule for using accessories lights on vehicles from 1 October 2014. This decision was made after finding it among one of the contributors to road accidents. At the same time, the consumer is in default with the regulations will be compounded RM300 summons.

Lighting accessories not allowed RTD 


  •  - HID lamps in retrofit installations. 
  •  - Flashing lights (other than signal lights and hazard lights) on the front or rear of the car. 
  •  - Installation of any - any additional light white / amber at the front and other red / amber on the back. 
Effective Date 

- Beginning October 1, 2014
- Compound Rate of Summons

Maximum of RM300 for each offense

Torrentz.com site officially blocked in Malaysia.?

Today I want to download movie at torrentz.com website. But unfortunately the site has been blocked by Malaysia.


I have try to use different browser, Google Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Safari .. All seem redirect to the same page above.

I don't know is this for real or just temporary. If this is for real then from my opinion, they should block also the other torrentz site like isohunt, kickass , etc. Then the blocking initiative will be more effective.

By the way, Thanks for whatever who doing this block, is either government, internet service provider(ISP), etc. This is a good job from my humble opinion. At least you have some action to protect the copyright.

Celcom 4G activation.


Do you have 4G LTE phone?
If Yes, do you have set the highest preferred connection speed is 4G connection?
If Yes, Do you experience sometime your phone dont have line connection available?
.....

Before this i have set my phone connection to prefer using 4G rather than 3G or HSDPA connection, but sometime i experience my phone is lacking line available. And for your information i never experience 4G speed and the phone never show LTE connection available. So i wonder, what is happening. My phone suppose using LTE connection not HSDPA only.

If you have one of my experience listed above, you need to follow this step to solve all of the problem listed.

First you need to activate your 4G connection.
Note : this is only available for prepaid user.

Activate 4G connection .

  1. - Open message application.
  2. - Type "ON 4GLTE" (without quote)
  3. - Send to 28882
  4. - Wait for the respond.
  5. - Confirm the subscription . Type "4GLTE YES" (without quote).
  6. - You should get message confirmation said that your subscription is successful. 

Set your phone to use highest connection is 4G or LTE

In this example im using Nokia Lumia 1520 as a example . You can check on your handphone setting under connection / network .



Taraaaaa..





Now my problem solved, and my phone will choose LTE connection over HSDPA / 3G if the connection available.
